Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior Developer with hands-on experience working with APIs, including integrating, testing, and debugging them. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Postman, understand how APIs work, and have basic development skills to assist with building and maintaining API-based features.
In addition, familiarity with low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Apps and strong analytical skills for reporting and dashboards will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate REST APIs into existing systems
- Ensure a strong understanding of APIs, API testing, JSON, HTTP methods, and authentication
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features
- Document API workflows and integration steps
- Assist in improving API performance and handling error responses
- Support low-code app development using Microsoft Power Apps
- Apply analytical skills to create reports and dashboards, providing valuable insights for business decisions
Required Skills:
- Basic programming knowledge in any backend language (JavaScript/Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, etc.)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, API testing, JSON, HTTP methods, and authentication
- Hands-on experience with Postman
- Ability to debug API requests/responses
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Analytical skills for reporting and dashboard creation to drive decision-making
- Basic knowledge or interest in low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Apps
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of API documentation tools (Swagger/Postman Collections)
- Understanding of CI/CD basics
