Technical Account Manager – UK and Ireland

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager/Account Manager.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The role also requires you to be very customer oriented and commercial in your thinking to be able to grow the client’s account further with additional crossell and upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software projects from initiation to closure
  • Work on existing projects/accounts and come up with re-engagement plan for those customers
  • Engage with clients by visiting them in-person and educating them about products and services of the company.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and technical team
  • Understand programming concepts/databases/scripting – ideally you should have done some programming in your past.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and increase their spend with the company
  • Work on getting positive feedbacks from customers

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven working experience as a project manager/account manager in the information technology sector
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II is a plus but not mandatory
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, )

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business
