CiviEvent is CiviCRM\u2019s Event registration module. It centralizes your event registration and management process and allows you to create any number of events, customize events and participants information as necessary, accept registration fees\u00a0on line\u00a0and communicate with your participants through CiviMail.<\/p>\n

If you don’t know how to create an\u00a0Event <\/strong>follow step by step instructions provided here.<\/p>\n

After having created the content of\u00a0your event, if you want to add an Online Registration click on the Online Registration\u00a0<\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

Then, check the \u201cAllow Online Registration<\/strong>\u201d box and complete the form which\u00a0will appear.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

1. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Fill the \u201cRegistration Link Text<\/strong>\u201d which displays text for link from Event Information to Event Registration pages (e.g. ‘Register Now!’).<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Fill the Registration Start and End Date<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Check the \u201cRegister multiple participants\u201d box to allow users to register themselves and a number of additional participants<\/strong> for an event.<\/p>\n

4. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Check \u201cAllow multiple registrations from the same email address\u201d to allow a user to register multiple participants using the same email address.<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Fill the \u201cPending participant expiration\u201d if you want to set up a time limit<\/strong>\u00a0in hours\u00a0for confirming\/finishing registration by participants with any of the pending statuses. You can also disable this feature in leave it empty.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Then, write an\u00a0introductory message or some instructions<\/strong>\u00a0for your online event registration page such as for example \u201cPlease enter attendee details below<\/em>\u201d or some details about a possible discount. You can also add an optional\u00a0footer text<\/strong>\u00a0if necessary.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>If you need to collect additional information specific to a person’s\u00a0participation<\/strong> during event registration, you will have to configure one or two CiviCRM Profiles – which are collections of standard or custom fields. Examples include meal and\/or volunteer preferences.<\/p>\n

\u00a08.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Give a Title<\/strong> to the page where user reviews and confirms their registration information like \u201cConfirm Your Registration Information<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00a09. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>You can also add an optional Introductory text<\/strong> to your Confirmation screen, such as \u201cPlease check that the details below are correct<\/em>\u201d and a Footer text like for example information about your Cancellation policy.<\/p>\n
