As part of their weekly webinar series, Target Integration will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday 19 December entitled: “how to run a free-flowing production line”. The webinar will take place from 12 to 12:30pm, and is free to attend. Dylan Jones and Rohit Thakral will discuss the key processes for running a free-flowing production line in a way that is cost effective and efficient.
This webinar will be useful for anyone who has a manufacturing process in their company, whether that be a physical production line with conveyor belts and automated transferring of components, or simply a manufacturing process involving several sub-processes, which are moved around to each processing location manually. The information covered in this webinar will be beneficial for both of these manufacturing processes.
What to expect in this webinar
In this webinar we will discuss the important factors in running a production line, how to keep costs to a minimum and keep everything flowing efficiently. The software demo will show you how to track time for individual processes, calculate costs for each process, and manage problems such as machine failure.
There will be a demonstration of Odoo, a powerful ERP system with an intuitive but in depth manufacturing module, which allows you to track and analyse the manufacturing process to the smallest details. Odoo uses a work order system, which allows you to define each sub-process in the manufacturing process, and allows you to track information on a per-machine basis. Diagrams can also be attached to work orders, to make it simple for the manufacturers to see how the process needs to be done.
There will also be a question and answer session at the end; if you have any questions feel free to ask.
The manufacturing process on a free-flowing production line is split into many sub-processes, each with their own process, time and material requirements. The webinar will discuss these processes, and offer simple solutions to complications faced when dealing with them.
Cost analysis and data analysis regarding each process will also be discussed.
