Business Development Manager – UK

Job description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing Oxford, UK team. This full-time, hybrid position will involve generating high-quality meetings and fostering relationships that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate should have experience with software sales and services sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the company’s sales strategy to achieve sales goals and revenues.
  • Drive lead generation to acquire new customers & hit monthly sales targets.
  • Generation of meetings for consultants.
  • Attending suitable exhibitions and industry conventions.
  • Attending networking events and meetings
  • Manage the sales pipeline reporting weekly activities.
  • Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
  • Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue.
  • Present weekly sales reports.
  • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis.
  • Analyse data to identify sales opportunities.

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience in software sales and services sales.
  • Experience in winning & closing sales opportunities.
  • Business Degree (preferable).
  • Technical sales skills.
  • Tracking sales leads/opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Proficient in conducting thorough market research.
