Target Integration Attends Belfast Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference

This week, Target Integration was thrilled to attend the Northern Ireland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference held at the Titanic Exhibition Centre, Belfast on Wednesday, September 12th. The event, hosted by Premiere Publishing was a singular opportunity to meet with leading manufacturing and distribution firms from across Northern Ireland and beyond and showcase the transformative potential of digital ERP and CRM solutions.

With Thanks to Thomas Thompson of CMASS

Target Integration was privileged to be joined on the day by Thomas Thompson, Managing Director of CMASS, who shared the stage with Target Integration CEO Rohit Thakral to host a discussion around common misconceptions in ERP implementation for manufacturers. The session gave manufacturers an opportunity to voice their questions about the ERP implementation process from Thompson’s own personal insights into the procedure, having benefitted directly from Target Integration’s implementation of an ERP system at CMASS. Rohit Thakral moderated the Supply Chain stage for the first half of the day, presenting speeches from representatives of AMIC, Leyton, Horizon Europe among others.

Engaging with Industry Leaders

The conference provided a melting pot of ideas and innovations. We had the pleasure of engaging in insightful discussions with industry leaders, learning about their challenges, unique perspectives and pain points, and sharing our own experiences and solutions. These interactions helped broaden our own understanding of the unique position of the Northern Irish market post-Windsor Framework, and the opportunities that proliferate by simultaneously being a constituent nation of the United Kingdom, and a part of the European Union Single Market and Customs Union.

Showcasing Our Solutions

Target Integration was able to showcase one such cutting-edge solution with a fully-interactive Odoo demo at our booth. Our team demonstrated how a fully-customisable Odoo implementation could automate an entire manufacturing process from point of sale, through production, to final delivery.

Key Takeaways from the Conference

The Northern Ireland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference was packed with informative sessions and opportunities to chat and learn. Some of our key takeaways include:

  1. Digital Transformation: More than ever, against the stormclouds of economic uncertainty on the horizon, the importance of embracing digital technologies to stay competitive in the manufacturing and supply chain sectors has never been clearer. From automation to data analytics, the potential for digital transformation to drive efficiency and optimisation was a standout theme.
  1. Sustainability: Sustainability is no longer just a buzzword; it is a critical component of modern manufacturing and supply chain strategies.
  1. Resilience and Adaptability: Recent global disruptions, from the pandemic to the outbreak of war, have underscored the need for resilience and adaptability in supply chain management. Strategies for building robust and flexible supply chains provided valuable insights for navigating future uncertainties.
  1. Collaboration and Partnerships: The power of collaboration was evident throughout the conference. Building strong partnerships and fostering a collaborative ecosystem were emphasized as key drivers of innovation and success in the industry.

Networking Opportunities

One of the highlights of the conference was the networking opportunities it provided. We had the chance to connect with a diverse group of professionals, from small business owners to major infrastructure projects. These interactions not only helped us forge new relationships but also allowed us to gain different perspectives on the challenges and opportunities within the industry.
