(If you don&#8217;t see this screen, it&#8217;s possible you already have one or more accounts in Outlook 2016 for Mac. If you have difficulty adding your account, check with your account administrator to see which authentication method you should use.<\/p>\n<table id=\"tblID0EAAEAAACAAA\" class=\"banded\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">To Authenticate With<\/b><\/th>\n<th><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Do This<\/b><\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>User name and password<\/td>\n<td>Click <b class=\"ocpUI\">User Name and Password<\/b>, and enter your credentials. (This is the most common method for authenticating Exchange accounts.)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Kerberos<\/td>\n<td>Click <b class=\"ocpUI\">Kerberos<\/b>, and select an ID from the Kerberos ID pop-up menu.<\/p>\n<p>To create a new ID, click <b class=\"ocpUI\">Create a New ID<\/b>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Client certificate<\/td>\n<td>Click <b class=\"ocpUI\">Client Certificate Authentication<\/b>, and select a certificate from the pop-up menu.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter your user name and password for Exchange, and click <b class=\"ocpUI\">Add Account<\/b>. Outlook will detect your Exchange server automatically.If you&#8217;d rather enter your Exchange server name manually, clear the <b class=\"ocpUI\">Configure automatically<\/b> check box, enter the server name, and click <b class=\"ocpUI\">Add Account<\/b>. This enables additional layers of security such as multi-factor authentication. You\u2019ll be asked to sign in to your Microsoft\u00a0365 account via your organization\u2019s sign-in page. You&#8217;ll only be prompted for the sign-in once.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When the you&#8217;ve finished adding the account, it appears in the left pane of the <b class=\"ocpUI\">Accounts<\/b> box and Outlook begins downloading your messages and other items. A green indicator next to the account name means the account is connected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<section class=\"ocpSection\">\n<h2>How do I find my Exchange server name?<\/h2>\n<p>If you have Outlook running on a different computer, you can try looking there for your server name.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On a PC: Launch Outlook, and then select <b class=\"ocpUI\">File<\/b> &gt; <b class=\"ocpUI\">Account Settings<\/b> &gt; <b class=\"ocpUI\">Account Settings<\/b>. Select your Exchange email account, and then click <b class=\"ocpUI\">Change<\/b> to see your Exchange server address. Select the Exchange email account in the left pane &gt;<b class=\"ocpUI\">Advanced<\/b> to see your server address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t have Outlook running elsewhere, and haven&#8217;t been given the address by your admin or ISP, check the <b class=\"ocpUI\">Configure automatically<\/b> checkbox so Exchange can discover the address for
