Overview

Origina is a provider of IBM software licenses, management, and support. Their accounts team was tired of using old and clunky Sage Accounting software and they came to Target Integration looking for a replacement of Sage Line 50 which didn’t actually work with multiple currencies and multiple companies properly.

Challenges

Origina accounts team was tired of using old and clunky Sage Accounting software and they came to Target Integration looking for a replacement of Sage Line 50 which didn’t actually work with multiple currencies and multiple companies properly. Target Integration helped them implement Odoo v12 with full accounting features and purchase management features.

Accounting Software for Multiple Companies

Company was facing challenge with managing multiple company accounts and its data. The absence of proper accounting led to wrong calculations and improper accounting details. 

Difficulty in Inter-company Transactions with Multiple Currencies

Origina was facing issues with recording and making transactions with multiple currencies in the company. Deferred revenue management in all companies was needed along with enabling the analytic accounting.

Consolidation of Accounts

Origina has a multi-company setup and so their company accounts need to be consolidated. Intercompany transactions set-up was required with monthly Financial Reporting and Budget Management. Reports to be created.

Solutions

Origina has now moved to the next phase of the development and requires a sophisticated and integrated system to support the delivery of information, support, product sales across all the regional areas. They have considered Odoo as their Accounting as a system of choice.

No More Accounting Issues

Odoo Accounting app was installed and integrated according to the needs. Repetitive accounting activities were automated to make sure efficient recording of details and productivity enhancement. 

Single Software for Multiple Companies

Target Integration installed Accounting, Purchase Order, Document Management, and configuration of a multi-Company (4 Companies) base within a single system installation i.e Odoo, for managing multiple companies.

Easy Purchase Management

The purchase management app was installed and was completely integrated with the accounting software. It automated their purchasing workflows like stock updates and orders for the raw material based on scheduled delivery of orders.

Result

Using Odoo ERP, Origina was now able to manage their multiple companies with one system. It was able to bargain and negotiate with their vendors for the best prices by doing a comparison. Odoo Accounting has comprehensively helped in managing all accounting activities.

Target Integration has helped Origina in overcoming their challenges related to purchase management and the most crucial challenge of accounting by ensuring simple and integrated accounting software i.e. Odoo. which has made accounting easy and interesting too.
