Project Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support our IT Project Management team.
This role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and documentation of IT projects — including ERP, CRM, and custom application implementations — under the guidance of a Senior IT Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a growing understanding of project management practices and documentation standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. 
  • Coordinate meetings, track action items, and follow up on deliverables. 
  • Support project teams in monitoring progress and identifying risks. 
  • Communicate updates to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. 
  • Help implement process improvements and best practices in project administration. 
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to ensure project success. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or administration (IT environment preferred). 
  • Experience with or exposure to software implementation projects (ERP, CRM, or custom applications). 
  • Familiarity with the following project documentation is highly desirable: 
  • Project Charter 
  • Project Management Plan 
  • Scope Statement / Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) 
  • Schedule / Gantt Chart / Milestone Plan 
  • Risk Management Plan 
  • Communication Plan 
  • Quality Plan 
  • Budget / Cost Plan / Forecasting 
  • Change Request Form / Register 
  • Lessons Learned Report / Project Closure Report 
  • RAID Log 
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar). 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting. 
  • Knowledge of PMI/Prince 2 or other project management processes is an advantage.
