We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with experience in project management methodologies such as PMP. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience managing technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to closure
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II is a plus
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
